Today it's just 240 days left before Microsoft shutdown Skype Online. As mentioned last week it's now time to act and start the trip to Teams Only.
So I heard the news today, here comes the news on what's comes and what's hot in Teams
MC227292 | November 28 - Updated November 27, 2020 to clarify the default will be off unless action is taken. Starting December 18, we're changing how 1:1 Call recording is enabled. Currently, 1:1 Call recording is controlled by the -CsTeamsMeetingPolicy / AllowCloudRecording attribute. We're now changing it so that 1:1 Call recording can be controlled by its own policy. This means that after December 18, 1:1 Call recording will be controlled by the -CsTeamsCallingPolicy / allowCloudRecordingForCalls attribute.
Updated November 27, 2020: Based on learnings from our early rings, we have made the decision to make additional changes to the code before we proceed with the rollout. We will update this Message center post once we re-start the rollout. Thank you for your patience. With this feature, users will have a file sharing and access control experience in Teams that is similar to their experience with other Microsoft 365 apps.
The first USB phone certified for Microsoft Teams will be available this month, the Yealink MP50. This PC peripheral gives users a phone experience with a dial pad and handset that is plugged directly into a PC or docking station without complicated set up. While connected to Teams, the USB phone frees up your PC screen for other tasks while the device can take on the call.
