Finaly back in the office. Here there was two phones waiting for me.
Yealink MP56(Teams
When I installed in here at my office I used a CAP lisence. For those who does not understand CAP, the means Common Area Phone.
This phone worked smooth and as normal from Yealink, the sound picture was real good.
On the back of the phone you have the following connectors:
- PC network connector, act as switch
- Internet connections with POE
- RJ11 for Headset
- 5V DC for powersuppy
- 5V USB connector.
I think in most cases this is a good office phone for users who need this.
Firmware upgrade and admin via Teams Admin Center ofcourse.
Yealink MP54 (Teams)
Here I also used the CAP lisence for this phone. It's great for Common Area phone where this is needed. And also a budget model. The screen is smaller, and therefore a little more challenging type username and password. But you can use microsoft.com/devicelogin for this.

There are no USB connector on this phone.
All admin runs smooth from TAC.
This is a great model for users who needs just a small deskphone and very useful for CAP users.
